Well I had a leaky caliper replaced on the driver side rear. I put everything back on bleeded the rears only since im tired right now. But the e-brake seems to lock randomly. Itll be loose and barely grab then when i give it a few pumps itll grab again with a lot more resistance. If i pump it again while its tighter I hear a pop from driver rear side, and then it gets all loose and sloppy again.

From what i noticed, the spring that the e-brake cable pulls up goes really high compared to the side when the it gets loose. When the e-brake gets tight after i pump it, both sides of the e-brake spring move equal distances.

any clue anyone? sorry if it seems incohrent. im just tryin to get this done.

Have you checked to make sure the cable isnt binding anywhere?

I just had this problem. You pump it and then it gets tight right? and then it gets loose? When its loose, does one side pull way more than the other side? If so, the internals of your brake caliper are possibly stripped. Meaning you have to get another caliper. =(

Yes i have the exact same problem! damn I find it hard to believe its stripped when the one i bought was remanufactured. I guess ill have to get another one.
