how can i remove it from the diff?

all rear ends work the same way. Your final drive ratio is determined by a pinion and a ring gear. when you pop open the pumkin you will notice that it it pretty much self explanitory.
If you are wanting to take off the ring gear, pop your diff out and remove the outer bolts holding it on.

YOU should just take it to a shop. That way they can install and set the backlash for you.

Take diff out. Take diff apart. Take off bolts holding final drive gear on.
It really is that easy.

wtf!?!? when i look at it. all i see is the gear and some bearings. i already took the bolt on the outside out.the 22mm or somthing one. im pretty sure its supposed to come out from the gear side of the thing but it just wont budge. so thats why im asking for help.:aw:

i already took the diff out. im talking about that last gear that connects to the driveshaft
