i have a 5 speed 1990 240sx and when i bought it it already had a loud grind in the lower gears at around 4-5k rpm but just recently i was going up a hill and when i shifted into third it felt like i only had 20% power to my wheels, my engine was revving but my car wasn't going faster than 35mph and i smelled this funky odor right after. 3rd was fine on flat land but going uphill the same thing happens over and over. 1st 2nd 4th and 5th are fine for some reason though. when i parked my car i checked my transmission, it was leaking a little bit of clear fluid and smoking a bit, not too much though. anyone got any idea whats going on?:bash:
