Door Lock Problem

My car is a 92 240sx with non-power door/window option but i have keyless entry with my alarm.
I am having this problem where my driver side door would not lock with the keyless entry as well as using my key to lock in manually.

So my question is have any of you guys ran into this type of problem with your door not locking even with the key (have to hold it to the lock with the key to stay lock)!

and if so, which part was causing this problem

you might need to adjust the rods that lock and unlock the cylinder

i had a problem with trying to lock/unlock my drivers side door from the inside

ended up takin the door panel off and adjusting the plastic piece that holds the rods that lock and unlock the door

they now lock/unlock smoothly
