yeah, i feel like a dipshit for asking this question, but i can't fuckin get the hoses on the top of the fuel pump assembly disconnected...this is actually a recurring problem with my swap - removing hoses takes entirely more work than it should. i COULD work on pulling and inserting screwdrivers for hours, but i'm just curious - what are some of your tricks for hose removal? it can't be this hard.

spray some lubrication on it, let it sit for a little bit, and use twist and pull motion to get it off.

You have disconnected the battery for at least 15 minutes, right? You should have no stored power after that time. (And leave it disconnected) <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

nah, i think he means when he runs the car. you sealed the crimp thing (butt something, i almost wanna say butt plug, but that can't be it) with electrical tape, right? i'm still worried, and i did...

my friend has showed me a very easy way to take out the hose. just use a clamp and twist the hose to break the seal and viola, u can pull out the hose easily.

it helps if you can sort of get your fingers around to the end of the hose and sort of push it off. Keeps it from having the fingertrap effect.
