Fixed the leak at the gasket, when the cars running theres no leak at all, but once the cars off theres a leak, so I'm confused. Basically cars on no leak, second cars off it drips as shown in pic. Also when i went for a drive the steering was easier than when the system was dry, but still nowhere near power steering. I'm gonna investigate tomorrow, just wondering if anyone has ideas about the conditions.

I cant even tell where that shit is leaking from. That sucks though, I have a small leak on my PS and it annoys the fuck out of me. Do you know if its leaking from the crush washer or exactly know where its leaking? If you need I have a power steering pump for sale. its working.

did you put the copper crush rings theres one that go's on the pump and another that go's on the hose and bolt. also when you added pump fluid did you get all the air out if not to do this just take off the res. cap off and turn the car on then turn the wheel to the left till you can turn any more don't over turn the wheel then turn it the other way do this about three times and check the fluid level and add fluid if you need to then turn off the car and check for leaks.

Take your pump off & Have it rebuilt/pressure checked. It's so dirty that your shop will probably refuse to pressure check it without a rebuild first.. (I was told my dirty pump would contaminate their machine). It cost about $60 iirc to have my pump tested and rebuilt. If you're going this route I highly suggest replacing your high pressure line and the two low pressure hoses. I did all this and finally got rid of the 3 yr old PS leak. GL

as mentioned before, i suggest getting new washers and bleeding the system
i also hope you're using ATF and not PS fluid

The pump and all the seals Ex: Rack and Pinion Seals Hm, suppose i should pick up a pump, and check the seals and everything? Can i remove the belt and drive with a dry system without damaging anything.

well if your gonna get a new pump you might as well just continue using P/S
Dont worry about hurting the pump then if your replacing it,
The only thing that hurting is the Rack and Pinion Seals and other seals, Not using P/S wont buy you more time its the fact the Wrong fluid is being used, the wrong fluid being in there with either cause the seals to deteriorate, shrink or harden. So its the fuild you need to change out if your not running ATF Fluid (and also the pump since its leaking)
