ok , I live above a resturant here in Los Angeles in the popular Los Feliz nieghborhood anyways at night they use our parking lot for valet service till 10 P.M. so we park our cars on the street. So at 60 P.M. tonite I park my car across the street from my building . I go for my daily run up to Griffith Park observatory and back. I stop at Albertsons on the way home . I come walking down the street at around 7:20 and their are cop cars with there lights on parked right next to where I parked my car.
I come up and I am in shock the left rear of my car is pushed clear into the wheel wheel . Goodby Kouki tail lense I then walk to the front and my hood is like a pretzel the front end was pushed under a Toyota Land crusier . the headlights are history the radiator is on smack on the front of the engine. the left rear wheel is forward in the wheel well. the car probably has close to $6000-$7000 worth of damage The guy was driving a brown toyota pickup and he actually backed up and drove off with the truck screaching due to the damage he had.
At least they got a partial lic plate number.
R.I.P. one less Black 91 Fastback with 36,000 miles on it.
I am going to go take a shower and try to let go thanks for reading this .
I hope this does not happen to anyone else ever.

Man that sucks badly, you have my condolences... I hope you find the bastard and royally fuck him up. Maybe the insurance will give you a nice claim check Try to look on the bright side, and maybe you will find this to be a blessing in disguise.

That's horrible!!! Did you have full coverage?? How much do you think they'll pay you back??

I do have full coverage . the car was a salvage title(though they inspected it before I got the coverage) which means they will give me 2/3's of bluebook at least thats what most insurance companies do. Of course I do have a top rated Canadian Insurance company that is also in the U.S. Wawanesa so I guess its just a wait and see . man and this happens two days before I fly into Chicago . I will give you a call Irena when I get in. Thanks for the support I am still stunned.

That just blows. Yours was the 240 with the lowest # of miles i'd ever heard of. I can't believe it's all done. Will they let you part it out??

damn, this has really been a horrible year for us all hasn't it? You're like number 5 or 6 at least that has totalled his car this year. Sorry to hear about it, but be thankful that you are ok and that you have full coverage. I hope you find a beautiful new (to you) S13 (or S14 for that matter).

well I took pictures today with a cheap throwaway Fuji 35mm . major hassles today taking care of things and making sure everything is going ok before I leave town. Its going to be a total . I am just waiting on how much they are going to give me for it. I think I am going to search the Autotrader and see if people are asking the same high prices they where 9 months ago for low mileage 91's . So I can show the Insurance company the purchase price for one is around $6000. That way I know they will at least give $4000 for it . Thanks to everyone for the support . The poor thing looks sad sitting there all smashed up. I should have pics in a week or two to post.

I am not religous or anything like that but GOD makes things happen for a reason. Like what is happen wid me and my dad who is in pretty bad shape. All of his organs has like shut down completely. So the machines is keepin him alive and a note to also say the doctors says that he wont likely come back cuz of the problems he has.

DAYAMN 180sx. Thats sad, I have empathy for that man. And drift freaq, the same thing happened to me. Well, not as bad. A four door piece of crap toyota or something backed into my car, now my bumber is like bent up and all, and the paint seems like it will be chipping off soon. I didnt see it happen, I didnt even know until a lady told me. So, even that sux. And I have had my car for barely almost 2 months. Sorry man, Good luck with a find. PEACE

I still don't understand people who get into that bad of wrecks, you have to be drunk out of your mind to f**k up a car that bad. And it sucks that out of all the cars, it was yours, but I guess this kinda thing happens alot. Like not too long ago my brothers driver side window was based in, and today on my way home, I see someone else about a block away with thier window bashed in, and this was right in front of a school (1-6th grade), and there are always cops around that street, day and night. People can dam right stupid sometimes.
