i am going to have some extra money soon , and was thinking of going and getting new shocks/springs , but with the oncoming fall/winter , should i get them now or just wait until next spring , i can't think of any reasons why or why not to wait , but any info will help me make up my mind

p.s. , if your not from N.E. the winters are Bad!

thanks

well im assuming this is youronly car, then its jsut going to see the winter next year, so why put it off until the spring, just make sure your getting some springs that are suitable to drive in winter conditions, cause you'll jsut need them next winter anyways

Make sure you leave enough in the piggy bank so you can get some nice snow tires.  They make winters SOOOO easy.

In my opinion your first mod on any car should be suspension...look at it this way...say you go for big horsepower first, think of all that you loose in body roll dip and lift...if you get the suspension first and then go horsepower you will maximize the power gains from whatever it is you do to increase hp.
For example: i am friends with a bunch of guys with subarus and one of them has about 350 hp on his wrx and another who is pushing just over 200 hp on his. now the one with the 350 hp (and a cwest body kit, very nice) has a stock suspension where as the other has the sti suspension. i rode in both cars around the same corner full out with the same driver and the car with the sti suspension was faster in the turn plus i could feel there was less dip and lift off the line which also helps.....in short get the suspension before you go crazy with mods.
