wheel repair??

Just bought a pair of 5zigen FN's ....I had a set on my old car that were painted white, but when one got torn up I bought this pair use one to replace it. They are the black with a polished lip and the color is kinda growing on me, I bought the set only needing one wheel and the other one has lip damage, now im wondering how much it would cost to fix the damage and is there any down side to running a wheel that was previously damaged

$100-200 depending on who you use and how skilled they are. I had an old Advan repaired once that I drug across the ground, they actually welded a piece back in where it was grinded down and then recut the lip, polished it and painted the center all for $270.

Yeah, painting should be like 55-80 for a full powder coat job per wheel. Repair is a little more. FN's... blah, why bother repairing them, they are cheap to be throwaway dorifto wheels right?

I had the mobile wheel repair guys fix one of my wheels when I railed a curb going 20 (oops! lol) Did a decent job on the repair... color match was a bit off tho. Came out to $120.... dropped to $100 cuz I wasn't happy with the color.

yeah thats what i was thinkin...I was figuring id only do it if it was relatively cheap...paying $100+ to fix a $200 wheel seems kinda dumb...idk about this price quote tho....these local places are telling me $150 to paint one wheel, when i talked to TRG coating a while ago i believe they quoted me $85 a wheel to powder coat....$150 a wheel to paint straight white seems a little high

150 to paint is refuckindiculous. You can get them powerdercoated for cheaper than that.

Sell the wheel for whatever you can get and buy a new one.

It's a fucking FN. No point in investing money in it. Most I'd spend on one is $1 for a trash bag.
