So I just installed my Sr20det Redtop Motor in my 91 240sx (my first time ) started right up , no problems , no check engine light or anything ... it used to be an automatic ... i conveted it nicly ... bleed the system, but the pedal never got pressure ... so i buy a new slave cylinder ... little bit of pressure but not much ... so i bought a new master cylinder ..bleed it again for like 30 minutes ... more pressure ... and now i can visually see the slave cylinder move in and out ( it wasnt before ) .... but theres still a dead zone about half way down the pedal, you dont feel pressure till half way down the pedal , so as i go to test drive it , it wont go into gear... just as i thought it would, be i guess it was just wishful thinking ... any ideas ? .... i dont wanna take off the transmission if its a simple fix , but i guess if you guys cant think of anything i guess ill have to ... any help at all would be greatly apreciated .

Is your clutch hard line connected to the rubber or steel line (which ever you have) that gose to you slave cylinder. most people connect there clutch hard line directly to the rubber or steel line (which ever you have)that gose to there slave cylinder.

Look around ebay, theres a steel braided line that you can use ($50 iirc) saves the hassle of using the stock hardlines...
