yea my s13 is overheating still after i change therstat and my temp sensor and it still it overheating am out of idea of what to do any suggestion?

if i ramp it up it goes around the h if i just drive it regular sooner or later it goes up even at night the temp goes up

have you ever used stop leak? if so; maybe cloged radiator? could be water pump, hell the thermostat you got could just be bad from the factory, or the head gasket could have a small leak some where that is burnin of, need a oil change (bad oil = friction = heat)

i agree with a clogged radiator as the previous poster responded.
however, IMO, since your engine overheated, i would have it thoroughly inspected. an over heated engine could have warped the head, warped/bent your cam(s), tapered your cylinders, ect....

does your oil look like chocolate milk? if does DING! head gasket :wtc:, oil change kinda depends on how bad you oil is, but i would say 1/2 to a whole level of difference. also check for exhaust leaks around the exhaust mani and you exhaust mani gaskets, i would just check for exhaust leaks anywhere under the hood (from motor to cat, should make a light ticking noise)

Simple Test to ID radiator.
Drive it.
Let it get hot.
Grab the lower hose.
Is it hot or cold?
Hot and radiator is FAIL FAIL FAIL.
Cold and the engine is FAIL FAIL FAIL.

it has just been my experience that if your hood is closed and you have a medium to large leak some where under the hood hot gasses build up because they are not vented out from under hood (hot gasses rise) the hot gasses causes kinda of a heat soak effect on the motor (or at least the aluminum head)
again this has just been my experience in the past

and i can now agree with your statement. i've never had to work on a vehicle with a similar situation.

No way, maybe if you had the total volume of all 4 runers right at the head.
But THINK. At the exhaust gas's hottest point, it is IN the combustion chamber and exhaust port. As it travels downstream it loses energy and heat rapidly.
As soon as it is able to expand it rapidly loses heat and energy. So you are telling me that heat from the engine, that was produced by the engine, that was at one point inside the engine, is now heating that same engine to a higher temperature than it was producing?
Maybe, it could be effecting the ability for the engine to transfer heat to fresh air, but IF that was the case, you would have an obvious obstruction in the aero path, keeping fresh air from entering the bay, and transfer heat away.
I call BS.
