need HELP with fans wiring!

so i just got my FAL dual fans, and i cant figure out the wiring.
i bought the car swapped a few months ago. and it had a weak ass little electric fan, so i got these and im not sure which wires go where!

heres the old fans wires:

and the new fans have 2 pos and 2 neg, and i can't figure out what goes where!

FYI, i already tried putting yellow and blue to pos, and black and green to neg.
and vice versa

i tested a few different combinations but no good.
any help would be greatly appriecated.

well this is what I am assuming... i have the same fans as you

on the new fans:
black is ground-- duhh..
red is positive -- duhh..

Old fans:
if you say its small and shitty.. my question is.. where exactly was it mounted? maybe its the a/c fan? I have no idea where those 4 colored wires go.

I think the FAL fans can come with a thermo switch or something like that. The fal fans i got didn't come with the switch but ya...

my guess is that those wires are for your a/c and you should leave that fan in if u plan to use a/c.

I plan on getting a water temp sensor and a DIF fan controller so I can run my fans automatically off of that.

Correct me if im wrong anyone

EDIT: forgot to mention that.. if thats not your a/c fan.. if you really don't know what those 4 wires are, you can always follow them and see what they are connected too. once you find out what they are connected too, look it up in the FSM and it will be clear.

it is the a/c fan i think.
i dont have a/c tho, so i dont mind losing it.

i dont have a fan controller or temp sensor or anything.

i just liked the a/c fan cuz it would turn on when the keys in and i wouldnt need a switch. cuz it would turn off when i took the key out

if that is the a/c fan then I believe you can wire up your fal fans to it using the existing 4 wires, but you will have to look into the FSM to see what wire is what.

You cannot run BOTH fal's off the stock wiring. simply cause you have 2 fans that draw TOO much current for the stock wiring to handle. The stock wiring was designed to run that SINGLE fan in LOW and HIGH speed. You have 2 fans that run on a SINGLE speed. It can be done, but it will get ugly and sloppy and maybe even cause a fire (worse case scenerio)
My recommendation is to buy a separate adj thermostat with two 12V 30 amp relays and wire those fans on their own circuit.

yellow and blue = positive

The OEM fan pictured is a dual speed one. You can wire one fan to the yellow circuit and the other to the blue one.
Discard black and green wires.

You're better off running the fans off a completely seperate circuit than the AC fan you had. I don't think that circuit will handle the amp draw of those 2 fans. Plus, the AC fan is supposed to coolant temp switched, not always on with the key and the switch temp is rediculously high for a cooling fan. Either wire them up with a new circuit to be on with the key, or run some sort of fan controller (the better way) and stage each fan to come on as necessary. Search for my Altima fan wiring guide as it outlines how to wire up fans through a relay and a fan controller. Its mainly for Altima fans, but the same concepts apply to any fan.

Yes, you need an aftermarket water temp gauge.

Yes, you need to wire in relays for the fans (separate for each fan would be smart).

Most people with duals/no controller set them up so one fan is always on, and you have a switch for the second fan... this way, when you see your water temps coming up, you can go "BAM" and turn on that second fan. You have to say "BAM" though.

I used the AC relay/circuit as the ground for my first relay (the A/C circuit is a switched ground, so instead of both wires being grounded and "turning on" +12V to the hot side, both wires have +12V and the ground is turned on) so that my A/C light would be on in the cabin when my #1 fan is on - basically letting me know that all's well with the constant fan.

Correct, that stock fan will shut OFF when the ignition is cut off, even with the turbo timer running... the fan shuts down. Been there, done that..
I also believe that the 203 F turn on for low speed and 212 F turn on for high speed is rediculously HIGH, especially on a turbo motor.. Maybe for N/A that ok, but for a boosted motor... NO WAY, thats the LAST thing u need is to be boosting with water temps above 200 deg F...
