Well I finally got my 240sx. It is a '93 hatchback, also five-speed and runs pretty good (now I have to change the starter, but anyways). I got the car from my uncle who bought another car and has been promising to sell me the car for a good 8 months. He sold it to me for $2k and the great thing about it is that it only has 77k miles. I have been on this forum well over a year and feel in love with the car after I saw his about 3 years ago. I don't post much, but read a hell of alot. But now since I have my 240 I will be during more typing. Well this link should take you to my ride. Also on the link there is my old car, AE82 and some cars that I took pictures of when I was in Europe, mainly France for 6 weeks during study aboard.

I was in paris for about 4 weeks. We took a north of france trip to places like caen and normandy. And a south trip to lyon and bourne (don't know if I am spelling it right). By the way I go to Texas A&M and A&M profs taught the classes at a dorm in this neighborhood about 30-40 minutes outside of paris.

I forgot to mention the other two weeks I went to the south and north of france. I do not know how long it takes to become a french citizens. But I know for sure that they want foreigners to come in go to their universities. The courses I took while being there were engineering ethics and speech comminucation. The place that I stayed also had this engineering school that was one of the best in europe, but it seems hard as hell to get into in. I know they have classes in english, but they want you to have some french background because the majority of the classes are in french, also so that you can master the language and also learn other languages.

yeah, i expect the classes to be in french, i already speak a little, plus in the next 6 months, i'll be making 2 trips there.. so by the time i'd be taking classes i'd have it pretty down pat.. but the french universities want foreign students?

That explains why you piss off so many people on this board

Actually the few weeks I spent in Paris (and other parts of europe), I found the people to be quite pleasant.

I'm actually from College Station, so you have my apologies for having to spend 4 years of your life in that boring s#ithole.

I spent a little time in the French Riviera. Nice and Monaco are just lovely.

i hate to tell you this, but the people in france might have been pleasant, but more than likely they thought you were an idiot.. I kinda get the cold shoulder from some people, and i am french, and im tune with french culture and fashion... en general the french think that americans are cultureless, ie from lack of fashion and terrible food.

Car looks clean, great price. I had that color on my first 240, my '91 SE coupe. (If it's the same beige with brown interior). I didnt like the color, but it was very forgiving to dirt and whatnot.

Congrats and good luck.

It's really not that surprising if you have ever watched American tourists run around foriegn countries. We make pretty bad guests. It's amazing what you overhear and see sketching from an outdoor cafe for 3 hours.

Yeah I was pretty embarassed to be American when I was over there. Most American tourists are loud, rude, obnoxious, have no appreciation for anything unfamiliar, and have no control over their kids.

I was in Nice and Monaco in the summer. The weather was from another planet. 60-70 everyday, sunny all the time even when it rained (light showers). The water was deep crystal blue. The seafood was incredible. damn I miss it...

oh i know... and its SO apparent when your an american.. they wear they clothes too baggy, and wear american shoes, like basketball shoes or whatever... in france they see you coming... and they know you don't speak french either.. its quiet funny
