I am rebuilding the bottom end on my S14 SR.Just want to make sure I have everything I will need and if theres anything you guys would recommend me changing or adding.parts list so far...
Wiseco pistons
Eagle rods
ACL bearings
New freeze plugs
Everything for the bottom end will more than likely be cryo treated including crank
all new seals and gaskets
ARP studs
cometic head gasket
Block hot tanked, line bored, decked
This might be over kill considering i want 3-350hp but I will beat the ever living piss out of this car so I want it to last.and like I said if theres anything you see that you think I should change or add let me know please.Im trying to have this done in about 3 weeks. Also if theres anything you might know that would make this easier please inform me.

I dont know ALC I used Nismo Mains and Tomei Con-Rod Bearings
While your at it replace Valve Guide Seals and slap in some Brian Crowler Valve Springs and retainers.
And it you wanna to the Mic'n drop in the Tomei Solid Lifters and some 272's
uummm I d take off the Cometic Head Gasket and Spring for a Power Enterpirse HG if your puttin this much money into it

Yeah I do work at a shop so I am getting a discount on these parts thank god! My cost on a cometic is just over 55$ so I might stick with that. Now I heard BC springs and retainers aren't the best so I was thinking Greddy valve spring and some one told me the stock retainers are awesome and to keep those, any truth to that? I will be doing springs and retainers so I dont have to pull the head off to do cams.I appreciate responses like yours!

You heard incorrect, BC is the real deal. Greddy isn't all that great, I know I have them. Don't keep the stock retainers, if your going to run high duration cams replace the OEM crap while its all apart so you don't run into future problems. Especially if you are going to "beat the living piss out of your car".

Cams will be soon...My buddy down here has a 500+ horse SR with custom ground BC 280's that carry 400ftlbs to 8500rpm might go for something along those lines. From the research i've done the Eagle rods come with arp bolts 2000 series I believe.Car will be part DD and tracked.Even though FL is lame and the only events we get here are oval roundy round track ill take what I can get!
for shits and giggles an old pic of the car...It will have JDM S14 areo on it when it gets back on the road, then probably some real man aero when I can afford.

well if you dont wanna do the cuttin for the ARP Cranks studs Hybridynaics.com has the Pulsar GTI-R Main Crank Bolts for like 35 buck they're 22% Stronger Over the 13's SR's Main's. But yeah like everone said BC Spring and retainers are great Im running them in mine. I just got finished building up mine so if ya got any question PM me.
You can Check my build up if ya want. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2431168/3
