I know hindsight is always 20/20, but why on earth did you leave the chip in the ashtray and the steering wheel behind the seat?? You know all the thieves have to do now is plug in the chip and file down a Nissan key to start the car up right? I always take my steering wheel inside the house and lock the hub.

Probably gonna sell the whole car for like 3k now if anyone wants it. Everything else is still there, suspension, diff, aero etc.

they ( the insurance company) may not pay for the aftermarket wheels intake ect but the should pay for the factor stuff which can add up to more then the after market stuff some times, but im sure it depends on the coverage. did you have key for the rims?

This makes me think otherwise to the comments posted about the theif being someone on this forum. Reson being, they took Car Audio & wheels, which any crackhead sees and thinks money. If it was someone familiar with the 240, S14 especially, they would have known about that aero, and also stripped that suspension down to the bone. This doesn't much help the situation and I do appologise, but it is just a throught that popped into my head.

Also I purchased my S13 for $3000 with only a few mods, so if you weren't joking about selling it for that price, it should go fast. Good luck on the sale, and glad to see her back in your pocession.

Seriously selling for 3k with the SE's if you want. I wouldnt drive with the tires though one is beyond bald. Everything isthere except front/rear strut bars, stereo system and c pillar bar. The pass window doesnt work but im gonna try and fix it. For some reason they tried taking the antenna wire out. The radio harness is still clean, they just unplugged it. The impound people jacked up my jdm navan bumper and bumper support. The bumper support is just bended up a little, replace or bend it back. They unloaded it off the truck with no damn wheels on it. The exhaust tip got bent some. First 3 grand takes is. Its like buying a running car and getting all the parts for free. Megan coils, all spl multilinks, new tomei t trax advanced, jdm aero and kouki taillights etc. I really dont want it anymore, everytime i look at it, it pisses me off.

BTW, it needs a steering wheel. I had to borrow a stock one to get it home.

it doesnt make a difference if u have that chip all u have to do is pull that piece out of the dash were u had it and jump some wires or just by pass it all together ...never leave the steering wheel in the car ... when u do find it do what i did i wraped all my wires in steel braided lines and changed the wire colors and added cut off switches ......and gps tracking...my s14 had been stolen 2 times before all that and the gps tracking really helps. its a pretty funny story when i found the kids who had taken my car
