So im finally going to rebuild my T28 and install it within the next month. Does anyone else have any experience installing the Pulsar GTiR T28 turbo onto a Redtop RWD Sr20? I have it clocked properly, but i am just wondering about the oil lines...

do i need to change anything? I really want to do all stainless braided lines when i do the install...any reccomendations on where and what to purchase?

Thanks in advance

Oh ok, so the center section with all the oil and return lines are all the same?

yeah, i'm pretty sure that's it,

the only thing is clocking it, which you've done

When i said vendor, i was meaning: A place to purchase them....

ie: where do i purchase TAKA lines? And why are they better than everyone else's?

stainless lines are stainless lines. the quality of the fittings is argueable but for the little money you wont identify any real differences. most people say TAKA since they where the only thing out for a while that where premade. companies like circuit sports and a few others are now releasing their own

Chris from team Hinga just installed one. You can ask him what the response is like. His email address is on the team Hinga website.

I spend most of my hard earned money at Enjukuracing, and FRSport... So go to one of those two. Whichever is closer to home I guess. Only shit I don't like about either company is shipping options. UPS can suck my left nut...Coincidentally what they both use to ship. It's more expensive and takes longer to come in. But its more convenient for businesses since UPS picks up. USPS ships shit from Cali to NJ in 3 days.. order it on a monday, get it by Wednesday. UPS.. You're fucking lucky to get it by Saturday. Enough of my hate rant. Fuck UPS. USPS, gotta love it. But yea.. Enjuku or FRsport FTW.

You might not be from SoCal but for those who are looking for braided ss line apps, take a look at this thread.

I'm almost done doing this swap. SS lines makes the job easier but i still had some difficulties. On the SR Redtop one of the coolant lines lead behind the block, which is very hard to work with even with small hands. I'd suggest you to remove the coolant line but leave the rubber peice that connects to the nipple of the heater hose. Then go to your hardware store (Home Depot etc.) and buy one of these barb adapters (in the pic.) they're like $2. Undo your SS coolant line and connect it like this. Now ziptie the rubber tube unto the barb adapter and you're set. =) Goodluck!

Ok, so i've pretty much realized that i am broke, and there is a chance that i might not be able to afford lines just yet.

My current t25 is pretty much blown, and i want to install the t28 asap, how crucial is it that i install stainless lines? Can i just use the OEM Redtop SR lines and be ok?

avoid this post

that is the shittiest idea ever
spend the 40 or 50 bucks to do it right.

How so? its basically the same thing, I just removed the red part the Circuit Sport Turbo Line so the barb can fit no problem. This just method just extends the line by 4-5 inches so it'll be easier connceting the turbo line to the nipple, because its really hard to tighten the turbo line if you directly connect it to the nipple because theres no room for tools whatsoever unless you have the engine out.

and whats this 40-50 extra bucks you're talking about? I spent $120 on CS turbo lines, $2 on barb adapter, and used the stock rubber tube connected to the nipple. and this idea is not my own but from 3 guides that I've read.

Yeah you can just leave it on without tightening the red thing, I couldn't reach it. Been driving with the lines installed for about a month and no coolant leaks yay...
