NISMO MECHANICAL LSD

Hey guys. I was just surfing the net and decided to go to the Japanese Nismo website. I was taking a look at the Silvia S13, S14, and S15 parts list and they have a mechanical LSD listed at 89,000yen. It comes out to about $750 when converted to $'s at a rate of 120yen=$1. I'm not sure if you have can order and have them shipped here but I'm sure you can get one from a Nissan dealer in Japan that sells Silvias. You might even be able to have a dealer here in the states order one. Anyways, just a little FYI. If you have any questions about the website and I can read most japanese so I can help you guys out if you need...

apparently, most of the (a lot of the?) nismo catalog is carried by nissan NA, meaning we can get most (a lot) of the stuff that's in there... albeit at list price (MSRP).
Has anyone asked a Nissan dealer whether or not they have the LSDs stateside? That would be... pleasant. Sort of like the weather today in LA! &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/blush.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':blush:'>

Werent the dealers supposed to start carrying NISMO products at the actual dealerships around this time of year?? I should check into that.

There is another in the chat section about NISMO products statside and a thread on FreshAlloy about it as well.
Basically, from what i have heard, most US dealers can now/will soon be able to get most of the NISMO parts. Most of the parts for the older/rarer cars are still kinda special order (not in stock, added shipping charges, shipping delay), but they should stock parts for the 2002+ cars.
