So I Have A Stock 95 240sx. It Has About 126000 Miles On It. I Was Driving Home Today And I Noticed That It Was Lagging. Then I Heard A Sound Like It Was Sputtering. So When I Get Home I Pop The Hood And I Notice That The Number 4 Plug Wire Was Spit Out And There Was Oil On It. So I Took Out The Plug And Looked Inside But I Saw No Oil. So I Cleaned Off The Wire And Put It Back In. I Drove It Around And Nothing. But Just A Few Minutes Ago I Was On My Way Home From The Store And It Happened Again. Do Any Of You Guys Have An Idea Of What It Could Be...kinda New To The Game :-/

sounds like your car maybe misfiring. pull out the spark plugs and check their conditions.

is the valvecover gasket bad around the #4 cylinder? maybe it is and is causing oil to come thru the sparkplug seals and getting onto your plug wire and plug.

Are those hot wires stock? If they are go ahead and spend that extra 15 bucks on some magstar wires at advance. DO NOT GET THE XACT WIRES!! I work at advance and went through 3 sets they would A) work their way off the plug and stick a few inches out, B) the rubber gromet on the end will pull off and stay inside the plug cylinder, C) the metal clip inside the wires will stay on the plug when you pull them out, D) the wire inside the top of the wire will snap when pulled out. Yes, I experienced ALL of these. I drove 2 weeks with a wire wrapped around the plug wire holding it down on both sides of the v.cover. Hope I helped.

Its not the v.cover it is a single peice of rubber that attaches on inside of v.cover and keeps oil out of plug tubes. looks like this if you can imagine it one peice O-O-O-O.
