that doesnt look like its from the head... Is your engine SOHC or DOHC because im pretty sure the KA24E has square rocker arm guides.

depending on which side it came off of.
take off chain tensioner.
remove cam sprocket on either intake/exhaust side which ever the guide is missing.
remove cam caps and lift camshaft out.
lift up the rockers and place guide back on top.
follow the fsm for more accurate info.

the Engine will run but really shitty and have a loud tick in the Head (Not Advised to run though) Very Simple to replace, find the valve spring retainer thats missing it, move the Cam Lobe off of it and just loosen the Cam until you can slide the shim back in.

yes that is a rocker arm guide , to put it back in just take your VC off , take off the cam bolts , remove the sprockets , make sure your chain doesnt fall down...take off the cams and see which one is missing and put it back in.

its not that hard to put it back in.. takes a little time.. dont lose anything and put everything back exactly where it came off

found no missing guide in the head. 8 shims and guides still intact and looking good. previous owner might of got the head serviced and droped an old one inside hopefully
