How do you remove the breather nipple from the pumpkin?

I accidentally bent the nipple coming out of the pumpkin. It is bent really bad and has a kink in it. How do I remove it to put in a new one?

I believe the nipples are pressed in place. You might have to heat up the cover and use plyers to pull it out.

I don't know if you will be able to replace it, so you might have to drill and tap the hole and put on a 90 degree fitting.

I've never cleanly removed one. Drill it out large enough to fit the hose in it, the just slip the hose in place. There's no pressure on it so it won't blow out.
