ECU troubleshooting code P1456...what is that?

hi there,
i am in need of an answer to the obd1 diagnostic troubleshooting code

P1456

what does it mean?
where is it located?
what is the function?

p1456 is an evap code for an evap leak in the gas tank. you should make sure your tank is sealed with no leaks (no gas smell) especially from the trunk (fuel pump) and the gas cap is tight. you can try resetting the code and see if it comes back after doing your checks

if you go to an autozone and ask them to give you a description for the code, they will give you a print out of what the code means and possible solutions for the code. if it is a small evap leak than try replacing your gas cap with a new one. If not that it could be the gasket on topof the tank thats seal the fuel sending unit. small evap codes also come up sometimes when you get gas while the car is running.
