Damnit, i know someone is going to say push the button in but that is not the problem.....

this is the situation, i just dropped the auto trans and did the swap, now the only thing left for me to do is the wiring....that said i will go into how my key got stuck...

my brother wanted to see if the engine would crank (dont know why) but i listened to him and naturallly i shoved the key in and turned it..it didnt crank, probably because the wires aren't connected, but anyway, beacuase it was an auto the shifter had to be in PARK before the button, to take the key out, could be depressed; but with the manual tranny there is no park so the button cannot be depressed, now i have a car with a key stuck in it...

there has to be a way to bypass this...anyone who has done the swap i need major help asap.....

You know the old auto shifter you took out?  Find the park wires (I hope you left them) and connect them.  Then pull the key out.

And I know PSI240SX was just post whoring, but dammit I hate it when people say "your" instead of you're!!!!!! &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

pop off the black moulding around the key and press in a tiny emergency release for the key. i had to do it in the z32 a few times
