Hello Fellow Zilvians! I just bought some adjustable toe control arms for my 97 240sx. Am I am now in the process of installing them. I heard that if you adjust the tow wrong, it will eat your tires in a matter of miles. Is this true? If so does anyone know how to correctly adjust the tow setting? I'm currently running stock suspension.

If the tires look like this / \ or this \ / instead of this | |, then you did it wrong.
If you wan to be more accurate with it, measure the distance between your tires at the front of both tires, and the back of both tires. Adjust until they are the same.
If you want it to be the most accurate, take it to an alignment shop.

you can use a tape measurer just to get you to the alignment shop but dont wait to long. 1 degree left to right is a big difference. Im sure since you spent the money on nice parts that youll use them correctly, right?

When I installed front and rear toe arms I eye balled it. The next morning I went to an alignment shop. I was off by 7 degrees. Also the rear wheels need to line up with the front wheels. So don't be cheap and get an alignment from a good shop.
