i recently purchased a master gasket set for a redtop from phase2. One item that it seems to be missing is the small orange seal for the front cover. Anyone have a part number for me?

If you are talking about the oil pump front cover to block, its not a gasket, you have to make a liquid gasket.
Look in the FSM.

The small orange seal is for the oil pump outlet on the rear of the cover. I dont see any quite like it in the kit.

the only thing i can tell you is to go get some gasket maker. Or maybe somehow by some stupid mistake only someone like meould have made, your gasket is lying ontop of one of your pistons. Im sure thats not it, but if i was doing something important like that, i just know somehow id screw up. Murphy's law is always going against me.

Do NOT use RTV in place of a seal. A seal is used because it's a high pressure area, RTV will just blow out and leak, dropping oil pressure from the pump to the rest of the engine, starving bearings within a few hundred miles.
