Any suggestion would be appreciated, i'm sure i'll figure something out, the motor mounts seem difficult to access how the clip is currently, also how does the wiring look, the previous owner had an sr20det installed so not sure what needs to be done, theres a few cut wires by the battery of the shell. I removed the fan/shroud/radiator/icpiping(plan on reinstalling) i'm confused about the accessory and power steering/ac pumps and belts. Thank you for viewing.

How to pull the motor from the clip? either from the top, or from the bottom. going up is usually a bit less work than going from below but its a matter of pref. i guess

mounts: they should be pretty easy to get too....you can almost see them in the pics...your looking at the right piecesright? get a set of ratcheting wrenches and as long as your hand isnt the size of a bowling ball you should be able to get to them

if the car already had an sr in it, than the "hard" part is already done i suggest you get a couple fsm's. one for the U.S. chassis, and one for the motor/electrical

I understand where you are coming from. I just did my first engine swap( started it about 3 weeks ago, just finished it up) Its a daunting task the first time. Best way to learn is to get your hands dirty.

Get as much lit / info as you can & read, read, read. Even then there will still be questions/issues that arise.

Good luck to you.

its a front clip, just get a sawsall and start chopin shit out of the way. if its in the way, get rid of it.

remove the belts in the same manner, your gonna want to replace them anyway, so just chop them off at this point. you dont need to pull off the accessories to get the engine out, just pull it all out together, then pull that stuff off when its easy to get to.

easiest way.. cut off the radiator support with sawzall, unbolt the motormounts, and you can just lift the engine and slide it out after everything is unbolted instead of raising it hella high and maneuvering it out.

you can get great access to the motor mount nuts by setting the clip on four jack stands. Get the wiring info from heavythrottle.com and make sure that the correct colors are soldered together. Some people use cheap crimp connectors but soldering is the way to go. The unused wires should be capped off so theres no possibility of a short. Other than that you can just unbolt the p.s. pump from the bracket and set it to the side. you can get the motor out by yourself with a jack under the trans to get the correct angle but its easier with a friend. slowly lift the motor off of the crossmember and work it up and forward slowly all the while checking for anything thats still connected that you may have missed.
take your time and have fun.
