Ok, I'm running advan sa3 16x7 & 8's with 225/55 16's, on my 90 sohc. i have coilovers, but haven't installed them yet. now, i want your guy's opinion on whether the tire set up is good enough or not to get a good drift. also your advice on how to set up or adjust my suspension. they have camber plates, but i don't know how to adjust them, i want a comfortable low stance. so give me your input, also if its not too much trouble for those of you running 16's, maybe you can post a side shot of your ride along with your camber setting..

thanks, for the help....

225's are going to be a little bit hard to slide on with your sohc because of the lack of power, especially if they are of a good compound that would allow you to smoothly recover.

it is not really the SIZE of the tire so much that affects the drift as the TYPE of tire.

although the 55 sidewall rating is a little HIGH, and youre going to have a little sidewall flex.

generally, unless you have a baller coilover and other suspension mods, or one of the new stance coilovers, its going to be hard to be LOW and for it to be comfortable, because most coilovers tend to be valved for less of a drop than what people want. the car doesnt have to be SLAMMED for it to perform well.

alignment is a key word. get the car aligned to how YOU like it. get some track side and decide what kind of specs you want.

and... SEARCH AND READ! :D

good luck

ok, thanks on the tire info. and as fare as the coilovers, the're some used old style tein's and bilstein rears and they do have p. ball's on them.

c'mon anyone else have any input and pic's on this? i want to see some pic's of ride hight's with some # adjustments/settings. other than coilovers, what else can i use, do, or change that would improve the handling of my car, that's not too expensive? i searched and just don't see myself spending $2-300 on some tie rods..any suggestion's?

I'm assuming your running stock. So, some sway bars are always good. Some people don't like the understeer you get from having the front one, so you can decide on that. Some are adjustable. Ohh and an lsd, if you don't already have one. Camber adjustments. The setup is basically on your preference. IMHO I don't think looking at some one else's setup would do much. There is alway so much watching could teach you. If it did I'd be insanely good at drifting from all the drift videos and Initial D :naughtyd:.
