hey guys, i recently had a problem with my apexi n1 duel exhaust system. one of the hinges broke off. i welded the hinge back on so everything is good. after couple of weeks i lowered the car and it seems like the exhaust is hanging off the ground. also while driving, i notice there were a grinding sound. later my friend tells me that its the exhaust. he said that i am missing a piece that attach to the transmission mount and also keeps that exhaust in place so it does not shake when engin is reving.he said its a very common problem for most sr swaps. do anyone know where to get that piece. i think its called a wishbone or something.

Apexi n1 duels suck major ass. WITH syrup.
I'd rather have stock than that piece of shit.
Sell it and buy something else that exhaust will only cause headache.

There is in fact a mount off the transmission. it connects to your downpipe. One section bolts up to the mount, which is the bracket and the other is the bushing part that connects the bushing to your downpipe.

yea, any exhaust shop can weld you a new hinge to hold up the exhaust. Since you already have the dual, rock it. I prefer the GT spec over it tho

My SSA duals have lasted a beating so far, but i just got rid of em too.. Stock exhaust with an E-cutout, and I finally got AC working. Talk about luxury in compare to my s13 :D

Now i'm considering removing stock exhaust because it is OH SO power robbing at the topend with this big turbo, and the e-cutout is OH SO F*cking Loud. I can't decide..
