Just picked up a good sr coupe and going through it but have some questions. First i was a sr owner before in a real Silvia. Ok here we go first off what is the stock fuel and oil pressure?
My engine.. Black top s13 sr20det 98 i think. With s15 turbo new, hks blow off, front mount, apex head gasket, all new gaskets for turbo, trust down pipe, apex all the way back, fuel pressure regulator, im double checking the fuel pump should have 255, also how do you check or do a hard wire for that? K&N filter, Electric fans, no ac, Battery relocated, Im boosting at 10lbs. Wich i know the s15 turbo wants at least 15 to wake it up. I also have a cheap boost regulator im figuring out. My last car i always ran 100 octane on 14 lbs all day. Beast some mods on old car. Anyway i dont think i have rocker arm stoppers wich is the secound thing im getting besides i already did the oil change. Just trying to figure out the 15 lbs what fuel pressure settings? Should i have injectors on that? Im going to get at least 480s. I will get a super afc unless i get a stand alone. Right now i dont want to kill it but i think it should run safe since my other on a stock t25 did 14 lbs. I dont get on it and stay in boost. I can do 1/4 throttle and its sick as hell... Thanks im new to the s15 turbo. Thank god i go the apex head gasket i know i can boost to 18 but not me i think 15 is good.... Also what HP with my set up right now? My engine is perfect idels, acts great. Sounds great. Exhaust is quite thank god...
Runs straight. No lsd ...lol I have lots of parts to install that i bought over time.. Thanks...
So
fuel pressure is?
oil pressure is?
s15 turbo should be at 15 lbs to wake it up to 18lbs?
injectors right now or richn it up with fuel pressure?
Im thinking on getting a hks actuator adjustable like i had before works great...

stock fuel pressure is 3bar, so about 45psi. Oil pressure increases with rpm (do you have an oil pressure gauge?). S15 turbo should not be hitting 15psi on stock S13 MAF/injectors, that's way more air than a T25 @ 14psi ---> get your injectors and SAFC if you wanna run >12psi.

Thanks, ok it was at 10 and i tried 15 for a couple runs i knew its lean so i stopped, nothing funny but i can totaly tell when srs are lean. Everything you said is what i figured. Anyway i do have a oil pressure gauge im putting in this weekend. I though fuel was 36psi but i already know im going to turn it up. Also i will get injectors and the super afc. I have the q45 maf with q45 Blitz air filter waiting to go in. I guess i should of kept my injectors 480. Should i go to 740 or 480?
Im going to stick with stock boost for now thanks again...

740cc arnt those for 450 hp plus?
I know most people run 550cc. You have a s15 turbo? And what are you boosting at. I dont need to boost high. Just as long as it pulls hard like my Silvia on 14lbs 100 octane stock side mount stock t25 no blow off eother..lol. Safe all day long and ran like a raped ape... I think i will start with 12 lbs on 100 octane...But with what injectors i want to stay rich...

well alot of people only rate the 740 bewteen 350-400 I would say there are good upto 450 though. I run the GT2871R and boost 22-26 psi.

LOL
And i dont understand the hardwire for the fuel pump. What is the deal? Sr20dets that are in real Silvias have the same wires hooked up to the fuel pump right? I had a Sivlia im sure the fuel pump was stock but diffrent then us version but i also know a 255 will not flow that 255...??
Im getting 550 injectors im going to push 12-15 psi only on my s15 turbo with my mods.... It was pretty good with 10 ...
thanks

the fuel pressure is 3 bar without the vaccum line hooked up. At idle with the line connected you should see 36 psi

Thanks what i thought. Would you turn up the fuel for boosting higher? Im going to go a little rich but not to much to wash things up... And i ajudt the fuel pressure with vacum line off correct?
