1st, I'd like to thank rosenautosport.com for being cool about our lack of people and extreme lateness.

We were supposed to get there at 10am with 10+ people and get the dyno for the whole day...but we only got 6 people total and we weren't all there at the same time. But they let us dyno and hang out anyway...a lot cooler about it than they had to be.

Anyway, I had a good time going even though when I got there it was only me and 3 other people...but they were 3 cool people so it's all good.

nrcooled let my drive his s13SR powered S13...very nice. I was even cool enough to grind a gear for him as a thank you anyway, very nice car, very fast...loved it.

bissen let me borrow his intake for a 2nd dyno run...sounded great but the temp sensor couldn't be hooked up right so it didn't do much but sound good.

John? I think his name was...don't remember his SN for zilvia (he didnt' say much) has a fully built ka-t that sneezes every time he lets off the gas/shifts. sounds awsome but I didn't ride in it or anything

I didn't get many pics of other peoples cars, just mine and nrcooled's...but here they are
http://www.steamymirror.com/dsc240sx/daves2
enjoy

PS: i'll scan in my dyno sheets later but here's what you really want...
stock intake: 129.4rwhp and 135.7lb tq
injen intake w/extension: 130rwhp and 136.8lb tq

It's about 100+ degrees in the shop, the fan they use is very small, and i'm running 87 octane gas. Then with the intake, the air temp sensor wasn't hooked up to the intake, so it prolly wasn't giveing the right ammount of fuel...thus the lack of real gains.

damn, sounded like a good time. Anyone know what Nrcooled's plate means? Or does it not mean something and Im just really tired?? I wanna know what everyone pulled, so you bastards better post!!

Ok Gents here's the scoop:
196 hp-205 lb/ft tq
Not too bad but hoped for a little more. What made me think that I had more was the fact that I have been wasting mad amounts of cars that I think should kill me
'stang GTs
supra turbo (older style)
GSX eclipses

Anyway it was a good time eventhough the turnout was nice and like Dave (DSC) said the guys at rosen were really cool.

PS Biessen can't drive You knew I had to throw that one in Josh j/k

Ok thanks dave for comming and the rest of you guys but hey bakari i tried to keep up with you i lost you a few so i had to play catch up.I know i almost caused three+ accidents for cutting peps off but hey i am young and not that exsperianced at driveing. But my numbers were ok and bakari you only got 193hp and 204pounds of torque and on you air fuel run you got 191 and 205 but hey who cares you still got a nice freaking car and is hella lot fater then mine.I pulled
129.7 hp and 138.6 ft/lbs tq compaired to my last run which was 125.9 hp and 133 ft/lbs tq this one was with a sri and the new one was with a extension.I almost got 5 hp and 6 ft/lbs tq.Sorry jed/foxcolt you did not make it in time but like everyone else said they were cool about it.

How would you all feel about having the next meet at dinwiddle drag strip? That'd be about an equal drive for the northern and southern VA ppl...just like rosen was. It'd be fun to go out there and race or even just watch. I'm probably one of the least interested people in drag racing around, but when you combine it with a 240/nissan meet, it could be really fun. Maybe mid/late sept some weekend?

Sounds like a good plan to me.

Yeah, that'd be fun...mind you I'm stock so I wouldn't be racing, besides I also don't think too much of drag racing. But it'd be fun to do for a meet, and much much much much cheaper than renting out a track (money is something I'm short of right now).

How's September 28th sound? Battle of the imports...watch some badass imports race, have a meet, go to eat and all that fun stuff. I dono if there is an entry fee yet or any details as it is still a month away. Looks like you can even race if you like...just have to sign up a day before hand, and again...dono fee's or anything.

Edit: i checked the map...it's actually only an hour from me...prolly 2.5+ for the northern VA ppl. Hope thats not a big issue.

K, here's my dyno sheets:

1, stock intake...something happened on this one, I don't know what though. there was a big drop around 3800rpm.
129.4 max rwhp
135.7 max tq
http://www.steamymirror.com/dsc240sx/daves2/dyno2.jpg

Here's the 2nd one with the injen intake + extension. Much nicer looking dyno, but only +1hp +1tq...probably because of the temp sensor.
130 max rwhp
136.8 max tq

Sounds like a good time. Was there a white late-80's Civic wagon sitting around there? If you saw it and didn't check it out, you missed something pretty

On a related note, NASA runs autoxes at VMP on Sunday a.m.'s. Price is about $20, iirc, for 4 runs (plus fun runs at $1/ea. at the end of the day). Last time I went to one, I took about 8 passes total. Plus, it's a big lot and you get into third (in an NA KA )

Yeah, that sounds like a good plan to me, I'd be down for that. I'm sure we could get quite a few people to go.

Whoo!! I remember seeing that civic wagon a long time ago. man that car is somethin else. B18, huge brakes, full cage. All in a civic wagon.

Sorry I couldn't make it out guys. I'm glad everyone had fun. My tires wouldn't make it so I had to make a detour to a friends house to grab some steelies. Traffic sux.

Nrcooled, what boost were you running at? Sounds like you were running 10 pounds or so. Why didn't you try 12? That's about the limit of the sidemount IC. I've noticed (at least on t28's) That the jump from 10 to 12 is a huge amount than the horse power increase from 7 to 10. I remember Jonathan's dyno he made about 200 or so with 10psi only to turn around and make 260 with 14. Crazy.

130 looks pretty generous considering that little spike you had.
