Im sorry to ask such a question. I usually pride myself in my ability to search out my answers as they have no doubt been asked before; however, i need to know the part number for the small cup like plastic bushing at the tranny end of the shifter. i keep reading how ridiculously cheap it is but when i ask courtesy or the local dealership i get told around 22 dollars which is 16 dollars more than ive heard of them costing. this leads me to believe im asking for the wrong part.
to be clear, this is the piece that goes on the very end of the shifter where it actually sits inside the transmission. it is very small and made of nylon or plastic. ive heard it may be the problem with my shifter slop on my megan ver.2.
any help here is very appreciated. also, if you dont know the part number but know the technical so i could offer that to the part counter guy it would be helpful.
thank you in advance.

I've noticed some dealerships charge more for some parts than others.
The Megan shifter could just be crap to begin with if it was fine before on the stock shifter. Upgraded transmission/engine mounts? They help lots!

I ordered mine from my local dealership and it was a little over $3. Just go there, talk to them, and show them the part you need.

well, i have been to the dealership and they try to sell me the wrong part, hence why i need the part number or proper nomenclature. unfortunately i cant bring the part to the dealer because its in my shifter in the only form of transportation i have. i also, know that it is supposed to be like 3- 7 bucks and although dealerships mark things up differently, i hardly think that the 3 in my area marked that same thing up THAT much.

Was it really that hard?

while i am very thankful and appreciate it very much. yes, it really was that hard. i had no idea that the bushings would be the same for the s14 and s13 or that courtesy would have them listed for the s14 and not s13. either way, thank you very much russ.
i also just noticed that i never specified s13 either. my fault and my apoligies.
