hello everyone. so i was trying to make some progress on my brake swap today and, as with everything project, something went horribly wrong. i was trying to unscrew the hard line that comes from the master cylinder to the factory brake line. i was using a 10mm flared nut wrench which worked perfectly on the other side(front driver). however, on the passenger side it wasn't breaking loose and finally after trying for a few minutes...the hard line snapped. I'm assuming that i'll need to get a whole new hard line that runs from the BMC to the braided lines right? If not, is there a quick fix? Also, does anyone know of any places that would sell the hard line already bent? Thanks a lot, and i'll put up pictures tomorrow if that would be helpful.

the dealer is ur best bet
cost is very small, 20-40 bucks max iirc
u can bend ur own
or do them all and make it badass
i redid mine
could have done better if i took mroe time, but meh

I have a extra passengerside brake line for the front of the S14. LMK if you need it. $15 shipped.

Keep checking, I don't know which forum I was on but I wrote up a pretty detailed brake line make it yourself kinda thingy. Either here, 240sxforums or ka-t.org.

Its easy, cheap, and just takes a little practice to flare the end of the line, otherwise, all the tools are cheap too.

For the cost of one pre-bent line, you can get all the supplies to make all the lines you will ever need, and you won't hafta wait for the dealer to open. Good luck either way.
