To start off i have checked on this site and others to try and figure out what is wrong with my car. My z32 has been acting weird lately. My engine is bogging down until about 3000 rpms. Starting off it will bog and sputter really bad until 1500 rpms, then it will clean up a lot at around 2500 rpms. Above 3000 rpms its fine. I've been thinking that the problem is the fuel pump starting to give out. Since when i go uphill it starts to bog down. As well i've read about people with similar problems and there was a bad vacuum line. Does any one know whats wrong?

You need more information.

Check your ECU for codes. If code 34 comes up it's your Knock Sensor. The car goes into "safety" mode under 2500 rpms where it could develop knock but once it's over 2500 the sensor turn off and everything seems fine. I had a 1990 that did that but I never got to fix it because the previous owner cut the wires out of the wiring harness going to the sensor :D amongst several other things. I wish I had patience to mess with the car but I sold it.

Oh and the knock sensor is under the the plenum. Sucks big time. If that IS the problem then look into relocating the sensor when you do the job just in case something like that happens again.

I just put 110 in my car and runs good with 110 in it, but still not the way it should with that high of octane. It isn't sluggish with it in my car. Also, its na so it couldn't be anything to do with any turbo problems.

I never said anything about turbo. Mine was NA too. It doesn't matter what octane it is it will force the car to run rich no matter what. Seriously if you go on Z32 boards and you have a problem like this the first thing everyone is going to say is "check your codes". Lol I went through it like crazy with mine especially since it was rigged.
