First off my car is having problems starting off in any gear. it's when i start getting off the clutch, mostly off a launch but starting to happen in each gear. it's like the power is lagging to the wheels. at first i thought it might be the clutch, but when i suddenly decide to smash my rpm just rises up but i'm not accelerating. then sometimes the power kicks in really late like after i ease up on the throttle. I was thinking it could be my vlsd. Maybe the flywheel. I don't know.
i read a thread about a similar problem i guess, but it was about reverse only.
any thoughts any comments would help. I'm going to have it checked up soon. I post up on what it was, when i find out.

Yeah still sounds like your clutch. What happens if you cruise like 15mph put it in 5th gear and floor it? Do your rpms shoot up? then clutch is slipping.

i don't know about shifting into a higher gear (15mph to 5th gear). I was going like 65-70mph in 4th then downshift to 3rd then it just revs all the way up. Also tried just smashing in 4th and 5th without shifting, same result. Does that still mean the clutch?
thanks for the comment.

Yeah. That's your clutch.
If it's an oem/style clutch and you beat on it, it's prone to slip.
If it's happening under normal driving only, then it's time to replace your clutch and have your flywheel resurfaced while you're at it.

thanks guys for all the feedback. I'm contemplating if i should just get another oem clutch or upgrade with an aftermarket one. How much is a oem clutch usually cost?
