Sorry, I've searched, but my problem is kind of unique, and I didn't find all the information I needed. I need to replace my entire upper harness, it's beyond the point of no repair, though first of all, I'm not really sure if I'm calling it by its proper name, it might be the body harness, please correct me.
Here are some pictures of the harness I'm talking about.

I want to replace the entire thing, I'm looking for an uncut one with all the fuseboxes and connectors attached, but I'm not really sure what would work.
My 240 is a 93 SE hatchback, and I have access to a harness from a 93 SE coupe with an HUD, but I have no idea if that would function correctly, since I have a regular cluster. I'd really like to find a 91-93 SE hatchback harness because I know it would work fine, but I can't seem to find anyone willing to part one out, so I'm just trying to get whatever I can find.
(If you happen to have one, please contact me. :))

Here are my actual questions.
Would the 93 SE HUD coupe harness work? I'm guessing not, but it can't hurt to ask.
Also, what about a non-SE 91-93 harness, either hatchback or coupe, are the non-SE and SE harnesses the same, and is there any difference between the hatchback and the coupe harness?
And last, what about 89-90 harnesses? I looked at a cut up one at a junkyard, and it looked very similar.

I just really want to have a working cluster and headlights again, I will appreciate any info or help, thank you ahead.

The main harness for the HUD and non-HUD are not the same. Just check your FSM under the electrical section and study the harness diagrams of the sections you're wanting to replace. You can see on pages EL-42 and EL-43 two separate diagrams for each option. So to answer your question, no it wont work.

You are going to have to find a donor car that has the same options as yours, the base, SE and XE models all have minor differences in them. Coupe and fastback are only different in the rear end light section. From the rear seats forward they're the same, including wire length and route.

Sorry but I'm sure that wasn't the answer you were looking for.

The HUD harness would actually work as long as it's got all the same options. The major difference in that harness (called the underhood harness) is the SE models have cruise, so there's another section running back through the passenger side of the firewall. Auto cars will be different than manuals of course as well.

Hmm, thanks for the info both of you.
So according to what R240NA said, will the 93 SE HUD coupe harness work in my 93 SE hatch with a regular DOHC cluster, if both the cars are 5-speed?

Well to further elaborate on your harnesses, you have the underhood or engine harness which connectes to your dash or main harness at the S.M.J.B.(super main junction box) sounds stupid but thats what the FSM calls it. This is the big white box located under the dash just above the fuse box. As far as the HUD portion of the harness, it connects to the dash harness behind the dash by two connectors, one black and one white. This is the part that I was refering to, however you should just be able to disconnect your old one and hook it up at the same point on the new harness with no problems. The underhood and dash harnesses will work depending on the donor car's options to yours. Sorry I wasn't more specific earlier.

Hope this helps.

HUD doesn't matter, there's a subharness for the cluster and it's found in the body harness anyway, not in the underhood harness.

Thanks a lot for the help, I'll most likely be getting the coupe harness then.
