How many hours do you log at the track a week? Do you find that you get excessive fade after only a few laps? $3000 for brakes is a lot of money; if you want upgraded brakes, just get the Z32 up front. Proportioning should not be an issue with that set up. And it's not as if the stock 240sx brakes suck, there are plenty of other cars out there with much worse.

The rear Z32 is no walk in the park, know what your getting yourself into. It can be done....

I thought I would do the z32 upgrade right away, but put it off b/c frankly, with the pads I've got, I have great pedal feel, plenty of stopping power, and no fade. And I actually track the car occasionally!
Try some high quality pads first. If you need more, do the z32 front. If you feel too much front bias, do z32 rear. If you still aren't satisfied, then you can think about al that money you will need to spend.
