View Full Version : SE Faceplate swap on S14 cluster

I managed to get hold of white SE cluster and I want to swap the faceplate to black non SE cluster to keep my odometer the same. Looks like I need to remove the needle to remove the faceplate. Any ideas on how to remove it?
I dont want to break and I am afraid it maybe out of alignment once I removed it.
Other method would be to roll the new odo forward to match my old one but looks like it would not be easy and maybe "not legal".

no idea, i hear you can take off the needle (one of my friends did it) but no idea how to do that. And, to roll it back, no idea on how to do that either.... Wish I knew.

Yeah I tried to pull the needle off but not sure if it is just pull or screwed in. The needle itself is resting on the stopper so that is why I am afraid I am not gonna be able to put it back together.
