solid lifters

ok so im building my head and have read that solid lifter are a lot better when running a bigger lift cam becasue you can get the true lift compared to that of hydraulic

anyway so i was on ebay and came across these

just wandering if anyone has ever run or heard of anyone running these

they seem like they would would and without having to run shims to take u the clearance

also what are you thoughts about going solid over hydraulic

i have a hks 256/256 cams and going to order some brian crower springs and retainers

there's a thread on FA about those and how many people place them in the waste containers in their shops after 10 minutes.

Wait, before you do anything else, tell me those HKS cams are Step 2s. If they arent, whats the point of doing all that with shitty cams??? :down: Go bump to Step 2s w/ the 11.5mm lift, the step 1s dont really do much. Better yet, go get some Tomei cams...

Hello ,for only 256's you dont need solid lifters and especially ebay stuff. If your gonna spend $$$$ just put new OEM lifters.If you just gotta have solid lifters stay away from EGAY, & stick to a CO. that has done the actual R&D on there specific products.PEACE G/L
