who cares

250+ ftlbs from 2000-7000 and a motor that will never blow up ever.

^^ Werd. NA reliability. Not bad RWHP/TQ. Tha's what i'de want out of a daily S14. Might sound honda-ish but a cold air intake may add some more pull. A/F tune also??

It might not be what you were looking for, but that is an awesome powerband.

Where are you finding these motors? Junkyard?

I guess it's time for ITB's. RIGHT? J/K

Play around with that for a while. It'll be a blast with all that torque.

BAH its a dyno graph who cares. You want an extra 30 hp, change your wheels back to stockers.

Seriously though, give us some impression on how the car drives.

if you're gonna womp about power the only solution is to start buying infiniti IRL scraps off ebay or something.

centrifugal superchager would be gayer than austrailia and nopi combined.

...centrifugal superchager would be gayer than austrailia and nopi combined.

HAHAHAHA WORD!

car is sick. Drives gorgeous! drives just how you would imagine that powerband to be...1-3rd are just nonexistant, torque is always there but its SMOOOOOOOOOTH as silk when cruising...pretty gangster:cj:

That is nice. Its not a ton of power, but it will be super reliable, and its a nice broad powerband. Looks to peak right where a stock KA does. Actually, it looks like a stock KA dyno just doubled. I guess that dyno you posted of that 500whp+ VH45 in Australia shows what you can do with maximum development. Anything easy you can do to crest the 300whp mark, or is it all expensive custom parts from Aussie at that point?

I hope you're joking about "disappointment," seeing the number of people who abuse and blow up KAs and SRs to get those kind of numbers all the time.
Russell, who I have probably never agreed with, also hit the nail on the head when he spoke to HOW it is giving you that power and the fact that you'll get it with damn near INFINITE reliability.
I am still impressed

great numbers considering the VH45DE generates 278 hp at 6000 rpm and 292lb-ft at 4000 rpm. Any figures on MPG? also what year is the engine? if its a 1990-1993 engine you might want to change the faulty plastic chain guides to the metal ones in the 94-up q45. GREAT JOB!

i dont know what the mpg is and i really dont care since it isnt my daily driver lol, it could get 4 mpg for all i care hahaha once i hook up the speedo ill give you a more or less on it.

it is a 92 engine and i already changed all the guides , timing chains and tensioners.

hopefully ill be back to the dyno in a couple weeks with close to 300 whp after i modify a few things

was that dyno before the custom cams and all that you talked about in the other threads? aggressive cams in a naturally aspirated car will help a good bit. That thing is sexy as hell man. I want a natural V8 too, but don't wanna go american, this was a damn good idea. I want one in my S13 :D

wow! I dont see how thats dissappointing at all. That powerband looks a lot like the vq guys' who paid 7k for thier swap, and you did this for mucho cheaper and have another liter of displacement to help boost up power (not literally). Id say a nice intake/cam setup should suit you nicely. Excellent job on the swap and install by the way.

Fuck it man! That is one FLAT torque curve and that is what matters the most! Horsepower is really just "bling" to brag about, torque is what wins races.

Besides this thread being like 7 months old, he already put up the entire setup ready to bolt in for 5k iirc in the fs section.

WTF??? I didn't even notice that. Why bring up an old thread to offer to buy a car? We have these things called PM's you know!
