First and foremost, excuse my ignorance. This is my first RWD turbo car. I upgraded my intercooler from the stock sr smic to a Greddy M-Spec(excellent quality by the way). The manual says to attach the old stock unit on the smic onto the new piping that leads up to the turbo manifold(still have a stock hot pipe).
I took the car for a test drive and it seems that in fifth gear at about 3500 rpm my car doesnt want to accelerate. Like it almost gives out. The same feeling you would get if your car is redlining. I am guessing its too much pressure for the stock unit? Just to emphasize....I still have a stock hot pipe and no aftermarket BOV. Do i need a new hot pipe and BOV? what would plug up to the new piping then(where the stock unit is now)?
Any help would be appreciated. Love my SR and would like to have it run as smooth as possible.:bigok:
