I did the stupidest thing today

So, I installed my cusco e-brake button today. Here's the kicker; I forgot to put the e-brake boot back on, before installing the spin knob. :tweak: I tried taking of the spin knob, but to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't believe I did this.

put a rag around the button and use some chanel locks or vise grips and twist. worked for me when i did that...lol

use a lighter and burn around the button and slowy turn put it out...

The stock e-brake button, isn't gonna break? I'll try that tomorrow.

Wow Yo... HOW STUPID... Just pull the damn knob off, you wont break anything, dont be scared .

Pull it, 1 of 2 things will happen, youll either pop the button off or the whole latch thing will come off. Either way, when one of that happens, you take replace the boot.

pull out entire latch hook

put boot on.

pull the back part of boot back so u can see

dip the latch hook in oil

slide into the boot and through the center, pull the lever, slide the latch behind it, will have to do it at an angle.
