Hey guys,

I just drove my s13 out to Vegas and had some very disturbing suspension problems on the way. Inittialy I thought it was because my shocks are old, which they are but the ride feels extremely uneasy and wobbly on the road.

It feels as if I need an alignment done, the steering wheel woobles horribly at the speeds of 55-plus. Anyone recommendations would be great.

I would do more research on my own but I'm using minute billed internet. Thanks everyone

So, excuse me....does this sound like a alignmnet problem or what are the possibilities. Everything looks good on the under carriage but the front sway bar is missing a bolt.

Wheels out of balance is the usual culprit.

Alignment problems just dont happen like that.

Check your wheels and make sure everything is tight.

Did you hit anything?

Faulty rotors, sometimes cause your ride to woble, if this also happens when you slow down from high speeds then its likely the rotors are the culprit. Usually having them resurfaced fixes it, but if your in need of new ones might as well replace them. My rotors kind of do this on freeway speeds and every body keeps telling me its cause i have slotted old rotors, just figured it might be the same thing. Hope this helps.:2f2f:

It isn't his rotors if the car suddenly started doing it.

Hey everyone, thanks so much for the support. I really appreciate it. The wife and I got home about 30 mins ago (3hr 30 min ride from Vegas to SoCal FTMFW).

Apparently, amongst the alignment issues and loose sway bar it appears that (and someone up there guess it exactly right) my tires are a part of the issue. I haven't had the opportunity, but I'm going to thoroughly check them out. The probably need balancing and one may need to be replaced.

Luckily, the ride home was 100% better but still lacked some of the rigidity I need (at 80mph speeds)
