The knobs on both of my rear agx struts are facing towards the differential. I was under the impression they were suppose to face towards outside the car.

Friend that helped me put them on said they rubbed on something when like that, so he has em facing towards the the diff. Looked under the car today and it seems he might be right, cause it looks like the knobs would hit the arms if we put em on that way.

So basically I'm wondering if we should swap sides.

Also there's no wrong side to put them on when it comes ot the front right?

BTW I did a search and most people said it didn't matter but they were all old threads, so I figured I'd check to see if anyone who install them like I did had any issues since then. They all say it's easier to adjust/see which I would agree, but I don't wanna mess anything up

Thanks

The fronts have the bracket for the brake line, so it matters to some.
No wrong side when it comes to the rears! But knobs facing the diff makes it easier to adjust, common sense.

^^^werd

KYB even states in the instructions to face the knobs inward if you want adjustability without removing your wheels, or outward if you only want to adjust with the wheels off.

My understanding leads me to the thought that only the front matters as direction is concerned... My rears faced the diff on my S14, I preferred it that way, I could adjust without removing wheels or jacking up the car.

Yeah a lil late but appreciate it guys, glad we don't have to take em back off. I definitely see how it's easier to adjust with them facing in.
