timing chain tensioner gasket ?

has anyone used rtv on the tensioner successfully without it leaking? i just ordered the gasket from nissan but it wont be in until next week.. im finishing up a rebuild and i need to return the engine hoist i borrowed by tomorrow :ugh:

You can put the tensioner in later, after the engine in installed.

you can use RTV to hold that in without any problems.
im an apprentice at an engine shop, and when i was putting mine together thats what the owner told me to use, hasnt leaked at all.
