When I drive between 60 and 68 mph my steering wheel shakes....does anyone know why???

balance your tires, get an alignment check. This will definitely stop the steering vibration at 55-70mph. I had the same problem.

past 45 mph... both your wheels need to be balanced...

between 60-70mph... only one of your wheels need to be rebalanced...

check both wheels anyway... don't worry about balancing your rears....

thanks everybody but one of my tires in the back is bigger than the others...all tires are 205/55 the other one is a 215/55 does that have to do anything with it too???

one of my tires blew out and i was broke so my friend gave me a brand new tire for free

no, that's not likely to cause your steering wheel to shake. first get your wheels balanced, then if the problem continues, get an alignment. But you should put that larger tire in the front, it's not a good idea to run different sized tires on your drive axle.

well i had the bigger tire in the front but on every bump that i hit the tire tore my wiring harness up
