I recently went to the junkyard to buy a new wiper linkage for my car and when i was their the guy told me that they just got a 1991 300zx so i jumped on it. I pulled the front brakes being 30mm aluminum calipers and the rotors. The car was wrecked three days ago and looks as if the brakes where just serviced with fresh pads. I got the calipers, rotors and wiper linkage for only 150.00. Im now going to get the rear hubs off it and the master cylinder. Ill post pics tomorrow when I pick them up. they had a 1997 s14 with five lug so i was going to take the front hubs also but the car for some reason was cut in half and only had one hub on it . Anyways ive been looking for new wheels and have settled on Work emotion cr kai 17x8 in front and 17x9 in rear but im not sure what offset to get. +17,+28,+38 and+34. Also any idea if they would clear the 30mm calipers? I have jic coilovers if that matters, and was planning on running 255/40/17 out back and 225/45/17 in front.

17x9 +17 all around and adjust camber and roll fender as needed.

brake clearance is based first apon spoke design then offset. in this case all you need is proper offset since spoke design isnt an issue.

search next time, there are a few threads about wheel fitment, I am being nice unlike many here. hell one of the threads is stickied.

well if its turbo the rear hubs wont work unless you swap over the axels too...and as he said..offset really doesnt have anything to do with brake clearance. its all spoke design or disk heigh. in some wheel cases offset will induce a different spoke design..in effect changing clearance with offset but it rarely ever works that way.

and just get conversion hubs for the front..unless you can get all the spindles and steerign knuckles for real cheap and feel like swaping over all that mess.
