Wasn't just you, mine were too small too, not to mention they have an odd clamping mechanism that makes them even tougher to clamp. I just went to the parts store and bought some really large air-box clamps. They were quite a bit larger and made it a lot easier. They cost under $10, not bad.

The only tight fit that I have seen is with the S14 kits and the aluminum elbow. They should have included a 3" clamp instead of the 2 3/4" clamp. If you ordered a kit and need for this clamp to be replaced with the proper size, I will send one ASAP at no charge. The clamps work fine you just have to clamp them in the middle and then move them over. Its annoying but they hold up AMAZING. Again two Crashes if this was a greddy the metal Elbow would have cracked and I wouldn't have been able to drive home from the events at all.

Out of the box, for the stock swap. I have been told that the cold (crossover) pipe can be cut and re-welded for use with the Greddy intake but I have not done that (can't afford the Greddy intake). Thanks, Mike B. www.hiprollc.com

The HDI S13 kit uses a BOV connector on the HOT pipe, designed to be used with a BOV adapter (shown below), although many people (especially shops) cut off the connector and weld on the BOV adapter. We keep adapters in stock for Greddy R/S/RS and HKS SSQV style BOVs for an additional $40. The S14 kits uses a similar connection as the stock fitting, which allows the stock BOV to be used or any other brand with the right sized coupler. I just got my kit for my RB25 and all I can say is WOW.

The quality and the appearance of EVERYTHING is top notch. I can't believe anyone would go with anything else especially for the price. I am COMPLETELY satisfied with my purchase and give a BIG THUMBS UP to these guys and their products.

Also the black couplers are the baller if you get a chance to upgrade.

Are these pretty damn durable? Yes, if they ever fail from normal use, send them back, and I will replace them for you at no charge. In an earlier post, one of our customers stated that he had crashed his car twice and they still held up.

Also, it reads 'a complete piping kit,' but will I still need to purchase the cold pipe for the S14 kit or is that why the chassis option is available? The cold pipe is included. The chassis option is because of different mounting brackets used for intercooler mounting.

Jesse... for your setup, you need the S13 SR kit and then need the S14 intercooler mounting brackets to fit the S14 chassis. $40 extra for the HKS style BOV adapter, as you stated. For the S13 piping kit, the Hybrid design uses a BOV coupler. If you look at the pics, there is a 1.5" inch fitting welded to the hot pipe. It is designed to be used with a BOV adapter, although many of our customers cut this and weld a flange for their specific BOV. We keep the BOV adapters, with t-bolts and coupler, for the Greddy R, S, RS style BOVs, and the HKS SSQV style BOV. $40 extra, for the adapter kit, as shown on our web site at www.hiprollc.com.

Are you referring to the 90 elbow from the turbo outlet to the hotpipe? If so, we do have those and they do cost extra. Hybrid's kits are all designed to mate with the stock setup, as much as possible, and they assume you will have this 90 degree coupler. We now keep them in stock (high quality, 4 ply) in black, red (burnt orange), and blue to match all of our other coupler colors. The cost is $25, including silicone coupler and 2 t-bolt clamps, and free shipping to anywhere in the continental US. We also have a 45 degree angle, just in case someone has a slightly different manifold and/or turbo outlet angle, also for $25. What other kits are you referring to? Hey Mike, finally got the car finish over the weekend!!! Thanks for all the support you gave me!!!. I have the S13 SR to a S14 chassis and I knew from the beginning that the intercooler part will give me trouble. When I sell this ad, I thought I would give it a try for 450 -Intercooler kit, bov adapter, and sales tax in GA. Of course I got the S14 mounting kit. I find out later that you would need a longer 90 degree hose for the cold pipe side. On the hot pipe side, you may be able to do what I did on the cold pipe side, but instead my guy just went with a longer hose to fit the turbo and the hot pipe together. I am really satisfied with the kit. Here is some pics from my car.

I had bought a hybrid intercooler for my s14, the intercooler is great but the right side silicone elbow is short, had to extend it to fit it. Otherwise great kit and very honest reliable seller, would definitely buy another one and other products from this seller.

Our intercoolers have the same size core (23 x 12 x 3) and are 30.5 inches across, measured at the outlets of the end tanks. The mounting tabs are actually 19 3/4 inches apart, measured from the centers, and are designed to use existing chassis holes for mounting (horn bracket holes on S13 and headlight bracket holes on S14). Yes, we still have these kits available - use coupon code FMIC50 at checkout to drop the price down to $375. For the S13, the hot pipe has a BOV connection for a coupler; some peope use it and some weld a flange. We have BOV adapters for HKS SSQV style and Greddy R/S/RS style for an extra $40. Also, have gotten in several different sizes of Clampco stainless steel t-bolt clamps to help with fitment. You are correct - the coupon code had expired but has now been reset so it should work for you. Regarding color, just let me know via email about the color.
