I've got a ca18det and am doing a timing belt job on it where should the crank be, and where should the beige and red dots be pointing towards mostly do honda and bmw stuff so any info will be awesome thanks

If you are lucky and your timing belt has marks on it (usually white lines) then all you have to do is line the white marks up with the marks on the cam gears and crank sprocket. If you don't have the marks, you'll probably have to count the teeth. Usually only OEM belts have the white lines.
