THE WHY?

Backstory:

Ok so there's a meet in every single city, every night, of every week. People are spread too thin, so all these meets are half assed and empty.

Everyone parks in some dimly lit parking lot in front of some closed business, little groups gather by their cars, no one talks to each other, everyone is afraid of cops and thugs. Everyone hates the community because they goto these meets and NO ONE talk to anyone. We're all so jaded, and defensive.

Solution:

So why don't we have a meet during the damn DAY. And lets do it somewhere nice, like a PARK where civics won't be driving by and coming and messing up the fun.

And let's be able to see who's who, and shake eachother's hands, and maybe someone could BBQ, and maybe someone could bring some soda. And maybe we'll make friends and everyone at the end of the day go "hey that was a cool event".

This location was chosen since most of the other places will be filled with normal visitors and this seemed to be the only empty spot in the whole parkinglot. Feel free to park at any other space though.

THE WHAT?

What will be doing? Heres a list of events that will hopefully go down.

11AM Arrival. Please do not drive fast in any part of the park. The speedlimit is 25mph and the Ranger's Station is right next to the Carousel area. Please do not stand around in the parking lot. There will be plenty of time to check other peoples cars when we take the group picture.


12PM Meet and Greet, Get to know your fellow Zivilians at the picnic tables.

1-2PM Let the Feast BEGIN! Eat have fun relax! Do the fun stuff.

3PM Group Picture

4-5PM SEXY FUN TIME AGAIN! Last Chance to Ride Merry-Go-Round? Tell me if you guys want to go as a group! Bring $$$$

6PM Group Picture of Cars at Indicated Location (TO BE DECIDED AT THE MEET, Pictures Provided Below)

1st CHOICE

This is a closed section of Griffith Park Dr. due to the fire, I'll go ask the Sheriff Rangers if we can line up our cars here.

2nd CHOICE

This is the bottom section closest to the Merry-Go-Round. Completely empty, it is not a parking lot. We can pile our cars in facing the exit and the photographer could take the shot from the top of the hill.

- Napkins, trash bags,
- Hot dogs, buns and condiments as a secondary food or for those w/ different tastes.

There are no grill @ the location. I spent the day there today and saw people bringing their grill and nobody bothered them. And yes we do need a grill so if you can bring one it would be great, unless John (Kndacomplx) is already bringing one.

Sounds like tennis can get competative in this meet...I'm up for it. I'll try to persuade my old college team mate to come since he lives near the area and we can do a round robin or something.

Well eliminating the BBQ action does kind of make it less fun. :D Ya its true, they were keeping runners and cyclists out of the park for like a month after the fire as well. They just started letting people up the Vermont side and cars are still restricted on the Vermont side, and there are signs saying no smoking! no BBQ.
I might show up for a few though. I actually do have another BBQ to go to on Sunday. LOL

taking pics for the Town Car rims im selling for my boss. I kinda had the stupid Idea to use my Only car key to pry the center cap off.... not very wise was it *sigh* i tried to hit up a lock smith but since they where all closed and it would have to be an emergency call they wanted 145$ to come to my. or I can just wait for monday to come and take my ignition switch with the 2 halfs of the key there and have a new key made for 3$. can you guess what im going to do?
