I got a KA motor a few months ago for my project car.. its a DOHC... dropping it in the car this week.. i popped off the Valvecover.. and the chain seems loose... how much should i tighten it? Also... thier is that little plate with the 2 bolts that goes over part of the chain... well mine is broken off... is it necessary to replace, or can i run the motor perfectly fine without one? I couldnt really see a purpose to it?
