first off i did search but couldn't find the answer i needed. my car keeps overheating. the water pump is fairly new, had replaced the thermostat about 3 or 4 months back. took it to the shop today and they said the thermostat was stuck open so they replaced it. other then that they couldn't find anything wrong. picked the car up and dove it a little while and the temp was overheating. do you guys think it might be the gasket? my dad is thinking it might be that. also i already checked for air pockets.

^~~What he said.

Also, did you jack the front up to get ALL air pockets out? Possible leak in a hose?

Running electric fans? Fans not engaging?

check your radiator for small orifices. My radiator has a small crack and did that too.

If your thermostat was stuck open it wouldn't make your car overheat WTF. Just longer to warm-up. I run NO thermostat.

Bleed your damn coolant again. Thats the problem if you don't have any leaks, takes 5 min. And run straight water.

Any coolant in your oil? vice versa? Although I am sure the mechanic dudes checked for that...You should run at least 15% coolant for lubrication/anti-corrosion purposes.
